Run modern CNC routers cutting acrylic, polycarbonate and engineering plastics for signage, marine and industrial jobs Australia-wide. Nesting/CAM experience fast-tracks you — but if you're sharp and mechanically minded, we'll train you up.
Plastics Fabrication Stars

What are the shifts and hours?
Our workshop runs a standard day shift, Monday to Friday, roughly 7:00am to 3:30pm with a paid smoko and unpaid lunch. Occasional overtime is available when the workload calls for it — always offered, never forced. No weekend work as standard, no night shift.
Do I need previous plastics experience?
For senior fabricator and CNC lead roles, yes — we need someone who can hit the ground running. For operator and support roles, no. If you've come from cabinetmaking, engineering, signage, boat building, joinery, or any hands-on trade, the skills carry over well and we'll train you on the plastics side.
What training do you provide?
Every new starter gets a full workshop induction, machine-specific training with a senior operator, and ongoing on-the-job coaching. For the right people we also fund tickets like forklift, first aid, working at heights, and formal upskilling through our machinery suppliers. We'd rather train someone up properly than churn through hires.
What are your safety standards like?
Safety is non-negotiable. We run a documented WHS system, daily toolbox talks when needed, machine-specific SOPs, guarding on all cutting equipment, dust extraction across the workshop, and proper PPE supplied and replaced free. Everyone — apprentice to owner — follows the same rules on the floor.
Is PPE and uniform supplied?
Yes. Steel-cap boots (allowance for your first pair), safety glasses, hearing protection, hi-vis, gloves and workshop uniforms are all supplied and replaced as needed. You bring yourself — we sort the gear.
What does the application process look like?
Four steps and we don't muck around. 1) Submit the form on this page. 2) We review every application and shortlist within a few business days. 3) Shortlisted candidates come in for a workshop tour and a chat with the workshop manager — no whiteboards, no trick questions. 4) A short paid trial shift so both sides know it's a fit, then a formal offer. Start-to-offer is usually inside two weeks.
Do you take apprentices or trainees?
Yes — we take on apprentices and trainees when the right person comes along. If you're school-leaver age or looking to change trades and you're keen to learn, apply anyway and tell us your story in the cover letter.
